Your information is used to prepare your proposal.
Website Upgrade Canada collects only the contact and project information you choose to submit.
Collection and use.
We use proposal-form information to review the project, contact you, prepare a recommendation and quote, and maintain necessary business records. We do not automatically enrol form submitters in marketing.
Information collected
Name, business name, contact details, current website or social links, requested features, timing, project notes and advertising attribution such as campaign parameters may be collected. Law and dental forms specifically instruct visitors not to submit confidential legal or private health information.
Business-sensitive information
Only send the information needed to discuss the website project. If a business is new or its location, launch date, phone number, hours, menu, team details, or service information is not public yet, leave it out. We can use a city, region, service area, placeholder, or approved “coming soon” wording until you decide what should be published.
- Restaurants: do not send payment-card details, private customer information, unpublished supplier information, or a menu and opening date that has not been approved for release.
- Law firms: do not send client names, case facts, legal documents, privileged communications, deadlines, or anything that could be confidential or time-sensitive. A proposal form does not create a lawyer-client relationship.
- Dental practices: do not send patient names, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment histories, insurance details, medical images, or other private health information. Use the form only for general website-project details.
- Any business: do not send passwords, access codes, API keys, payment details, government identifiers, or proprietary files unless a separate secure process has been agreed.
Canada-based handling and sharing
Website Upgrade Canada is an Ontario-owned Canadian business. Proposal information is kept under the business’s Canadian control and is not sold, rented, or shared with marketing, advertising, referral, or lead-buying partners. It is disclosed only when necessary to operate the website, deliver your request, send or receive the proposal, maintain essential business systems, comply with law, or protect the business and its visitors. Those essential providers are not permitted to use your information as their own marketing list.
Retention and access
Proposal information is retained only as long as reasonably required for the inquiry, project administration, legal obligations and legitimate business records. To request access, correction or deletion where applicable, email [email protected].
